The Finker-Frenkel Family Foundation is proud to have made a $1 million transformation gift to the 27th Annual InterContinental® Make-A-Wish® Ball, which raised a record-setting $5.4 million to grant wishes to critically ill children.

The ball, headlined by the legendary Diana Ross, hosted 900 guests, including star-studded celebrities, philanthropists, and politicians. This year’s theme was “Supernature” and featured otherworldly creatures such as frog guards, a hummingbird with a 12-foot wingspan, glowing jellyfish, and living plants.

On the second-floor mezzanine, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while taking replicas of famous New York City landmarks, including a Coney Island corner with mystical décor and a human Zoltar fortune teller.

In keeping with tradition, the food was a centerpiece of the evening. InterContinental Chef Jhonnatan Contreras, who has created culinary delights for the Make-A-Wish® Ball for 16 years, designed a feast for the eyes and palates—from the tiered poke installation to the three-course dinner featuring delicacies such as dry-aged wagyu beef tenderloin and oxtail agnolotti.

In addition to headliner Diana Ross, performances included a cabaret number and a late-night performance by Grammy Award-winning artist CeeLo Green.

Guests bid on fabulous auction items such as a Jaguar F-TYPE Coupe from THE COLLECTION, jewelry from King Jewelers, and an array of exotic vacations, local experiences and packages.
