MIAMI, Fla., September 29, 2016 — The Finker-Frenkel Family Foundation, a family-run charitable organization dedicated to creating a generational legacy of giving, have made a donation to Solomon, a Jewish Community Center in Moscow. The donation provided repairs, food, and clothing to Beit Chaya, a Jewish children’s home and orphanage located in Moscow.

The contribution also helped to renovate an entire floor of rooms to include a more comfortable living area, and ultimately helping children like Artem, a four-year-old who spent his first few years locked in an apartment with his alcoholic mother.

Since coming to live at the Beit Chaya, Artem has become much more open to exploring its hallways and interacting with others.

“It is our sincere hope that other children like Artem can find happiness with the help of philanthropy,” said Dr. Lazar Finker, Founder of The Finker-Frenkel Family Foundation. “We are honored to continue to support our home country of Russia and to see what positive changes can come about as a result of philanthropy and care.”
